Dr. Victoria Rahme Fairchild
Dr. Fairchild was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma to George & Sheila Rahme. She has two sisters: Ginny, Stillwater, OK and Dawn, Oklahoma City, OK. She attended Tulsa University and Oklahoma State University to earn her B.S. in Speech Pathology.
Dr. Fairchild graduated with honors from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in May 2000. She then chose to further her education by working with John Reifschneider, D.O.; an ophthalmologist in Leavenworth, Kansas. While working for Dr. Reifschneider, she was exposed to the medical aspects of optometry. She observed numerous LASIK procedures, retinal pathologies, cataract surgeries, and glaucoma treatments. Dr. Rahme also practiced primary care optometry by fitting glasses and contact lenses and performing routine diabetic, glaucoma, and cataract evaluations.
Wanting to return to her Oklahoma roots, Dr. Fairchild settled in Tulsa in late 2001. Upon her return, she covered Dr. Greg Brownlee’s optometry practice during his extended sick leave.
In the summer of 2002, Dr. Fairchild purchased Dr. Joe L. Rogers’ optometry practice, now known as Optique Professional Eye Care, PLLC.
Dr. Fairchild utilizes some of the latest technological tools available in the field to provide her patients with thorough visual and medical examinations. Optique offers spectacle, contact lens, diabetic, glaucoma, and cataract evaluations as well as the latest trends in eye glasses and contact lenses.
Dr. Fairchild in 2014 relocated with her family to Edmond, OK. This new opportunity has allowed them more free time with family. Dr. Rahme-Fairchild’s legacy will always be a part of Optique Professional Eye Care.
